Hi! We are Tim and Pony Baldwin. We are thrilled to be the parents of 10 children, plus our new children in law via marriage, many of whom are founding members of 10K to Flight.

The path to "here" has been an amazing story of God's Grace and provision, and we try to live each day with the Joy of the Lord who is our strength (Neh. 8:10), and the Thankfulness born of His glorious riches. (Eph. 3:16)

I (Tim) spent my entire life in Mid-Michigan, and graduated with an Economics and a Political Science degree from the University of Michigan. My family tree is scattered through with multiple generations of Pastors, and I have enjoyed serving One Lord, One Wife, One Church and now One Family band.

I ( Pony) spent my life seeing America, as I went through 14 different schools in 12 years...and still found the chance to live out my childhood dream of becoming a Professional Race Horse Jockey! When Tim and I met in Michigan, my heart's desire to serve the Lord as a full time mom and homeschool teacher became a reality.

A small family music career gave us the chance to share God's amazing life-changing power...and may have helped equip our kids now that they have become 10K to Flight!

Hi, we’re Jonathan and Jennifer! You’ll never guess how we met…playing music together in a church worship band! We married in 2019, and God has blessed us with three wonderful children, Corran, Alaythia, and Kairi. In 2020 Jonathan became an associate pastor in Saginaw, Michigan, precipitating a move back to our hometown. Before all of the life changes, Jennifer had been leading worship in churches for over 8 years, and Jonathan was engaged with his church's music team as a drummer. Fun Fact: When God started stirring up the idea of family music ministry, it was Jennifer who convinced us that we could actually pull off being a family band! We are excited and grateful to share in this adventure as 10K To Flight!

Who says that opposites don't attract??

No one. Almost everyone literally says the opposite of that. Maybe that is why God put us together!

We are Noah and Bella! An extrovert who loves to make sarcastic jokes and obnoxious noises at random times, and an introvert who hates being the center of attention but is scarily competitive.

While separately we are completely opposite personalities, together we are two of the most driven, fun-loving, and goofy people you will meet who love Jesus! Ever since the forming of 10K to Flight we have been as involved as we can to bring into reality the calling God has placed on the heart of this family.

I (Noah) have over 13 years of experience in lyrical worship dance, and I was an active worship team member at 2 of my local churches throughout my time in college.

I also began writing songs for the first time. Inspired by the lyrical flow of rap artist NF, I wrote my first rap song in 2019.

Now, I'm a Kettering University graduate and I absolutely love my job as a design engineer! But when I’m not busy adulting, I’m probably writing songs for 10K to Flight. I am one of the lead songwriters of the family band, a future bass guitarist, and I am also the self-proclaimed glamour coach (I've always had a flair for the fashionably flamboyant).

While rap remains one of my writing passions, my latest music draws inspiration from alternative rock/indie sounds, while my lyrics are inspired by the eternal truth of God's word.

I (Bella) have been involved in music my whole life. I grew up playing a long list of instruments, but I am most passionate about singing. In middle/high school I sang in choir. In high school, I also took up singing in my church’s worship team as well as choreographing for one of my high school’s yearly concerts.

Outside of music, I love playing and reffing/umping sports (particularly softball and volleyball). That is how Noah and I met! He trained me on my first day of softball umping at Kettering University (but then I became his supervisor, hehe).

In April of 2023, we got married and moved to the best... I mean the west side of Michigan; and in September 2023 I will graduate with my degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Chemistry. I’m not sure what I would like to do with my degree, but I know God has a plan for my life 😁 Together with my husband, our goal is that we will continue to follow where God calls us!

Hi there! I’m Merriam, I’m the eighth child and fourth daughter in the family. I’m currently training to be a seamstress and working a part time job. In my free time I like to play guitar, work out, go to bible studies with friends, and anything involving adventure and spontaneity. My life has been a series of making plans and then watching God completely change the direction of my life, so as a ‘life motto’ I like to say “You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail” - Proverbs 19:21.

Hi, I’m Elise! I am the ninth child and I’m in ninth grade. I have been homeschooled for the past nine years and it’s awesome. I’m able to do my school much more quickly at home and at my own pace, which has let me finish up my school year around late February to early March! In October of 2021, I joined my church’s youth group band and I play the keyboard on a few Sunday evenings. I was also honored to be asked to play piano at my brother and sister in-laws wedding this past fall with my sister Traci! Some of the things I love doing are my Bible studies at midnight, working out, lovingly annoying my little brother, and playing piano.

Hi, we're Zachariah and Traci! Our story began when we met and became good friends at a homeschool co-op when we were 14 and 16, but we didn't start dating until we were in our early 20s! We married in 2016, and have an awesome little boy named Søren. We moved to Texas in 2017 which means we do quite a bit of commuting to Michigan for family visits and band activities. Traci grew up dancing, playing piano, and singing, but didn't begin seriously writing songs until she was in college. Although Zachariah did not grow up doing music, it was always a hidden dream of his to be in the music realm in some capacity!

We are both stay at home parents and entrepreneurs with a real estate investment/short term stay business, 7 Legacy Stays, and an organic nut butter business, New Legacy Nut Butters. Traci also has a large online full gospel teaching and discipleship ministry on YouTube & most other social media platforms.

Hi! We are Nehemiah and Emily Baldwin. We are the youngest married couple in the band; yay us!! We grew up going to the same church, dancing in the same company, and in 2021, we were married at the ages of 20 and 21. Up until the beginning of 2022, the plan was to move to Iowa where Nehemiah would be attending Chiropractic school for the next 4 years, but God had other plans for us. With a lot of prayer and God’s leading, we made the decision to stay and be a part of 10K To Flight as well as spend time growing Emily’s Christian clothing brand, Convo Collections.

Hi, I'm Mercy! I am the seventh child and third girl in the family. 7 and 3 have been my numbers since before I was born--a way that God has and continues to confirm His goodness in my life. That sounds kind of funny unless you know my story. To put it simply, my life is a miracle. According to the doctors, I wasn't supposed to survive until birth (and "should" have lost my life a few times since). But here I am! A living testimony of God's mercy and power. But you'll have to stick around if you want to hear the stories.

Like the rest of my family, I grew up singing and dancing for the Lord. I began dance at three years old, and stepped into an assisting role at age 7! (Hello, 3 & 7, again.) In addition to doing music with my family, I began singing on the youth worship team at my church and have taken on a leadership role there as well through a leadership residency.
